How to see what everyone else is missing 🥨
The 2026 guide to conquering the blank page through Active Seeing and our new VCBC community.

Hello fellow explorers,
As we step into May, I have been thinking a lot about the spaces we inhabit, both digitally and mentally.
Wouldn’t you agree that much of our online consumption (especially reading and listening) has become passive? I often feel as though we skim, we scroll, only to wonder where the knowledge went a day later… evaporating before we can truly integrate it.
Behind the scenes, I have been focused on building a cozier infrastructure: a Phygital Wondering Studio that champions process over polish and honors our biological pacing. The best part? It’s mobile as well, and transforms into the Wandering Studio, when we take it physically on an adventure.
That is why I am so thrilled that the doors to the Visual Chapter Book Club (VCBC) Beta are open! 📚🖍️
Traditional book clubs can sometimes feel exhausting for introverted or neurodivergent nervous systems. The VCBC is the cozy, “perfectly imperfect” alternative, where you get to Bring Our Own Books (BYOB) and gently map them out visually… together.
There’s no pressure to speak, no mandatory reading speeds, and no rigid creativity pathway. Just a warm invitation to grab a cuppa, read an intriguing book, and dabble in a creative practice, alongside fellow visual thinkers.
If you’d like to turn passive reading into active seeing, I would love to welcome you into our founding Beta cohort today ➡️ 🗝️
🧭 Our Guiding Question
Our theme this month is “Active Seeing.” So, if you were to look at the stack of books currently sitting on your nightstand or desk...
If you could only actively remember and visually map ONE book on your bookshelf, which one would it be, and why?
I’ll be adding the title of the book I’ve chosen to read for May, in the bi-weekly Wonder Atelier Question thread comments, and can’t wait to see yours too!
🗓️ The May Rhythm: The “Human-Paced” Wonder Atelier
Here is what you can expect in the Wondering Studio this month. (Notice how we are pacing ourselves—not every week requires heavy reading!)
The Atelier Dispatch 💌
Focus: “Mapping the Unread.” A free dispatch for all subscribers on how visual translation stops the “forgetting curve.”
💭The Deeper Reflection
Focus: Taking you deeper into the phygital realm of creativity, through creative and practical explorations, following our ⚡ LIVE Sparks! session.
✨🥨 The Wonder-Bite
Focus: A short, standalone gift of inspiration meant to be absorbed in under 60 seconds. Just one small, high-value discovery to spark your curiosity.
🧠 Rewiring Wonder (The Taproot Diaries 🌱)
Focus: Our private, paid-tier diary entry. I’ll be sharing raw, behind-the-scenes reflections on cognitive load, gentle A.I., and navigating the midlife shift.
🌍 Where to find Georgina
This month’s a whirlwind! I’m resting and creating gentle creative sparks inside at Creative HQ these first two weeks, and enjoying the slower pace of life as my body heals.
On Wednesdays, We WONDER! resumes next week inside the Substack app for interactive video livestreams where we explore creative friction. We kick off with a morning episode on Wednesday, May 13th!
I will then be taking the Wandering Studio overseas during the final week of May, soaking in all the travel sparks and sharing my creative journey on Substack Notes. Stay tuned!
Thank you for being here, and for taking time out of your day, to wonder and wander creatively with me.
Warmly,
Georgina ✨💭

P.S. If you’ve been contemplating joining us inside the Visual Chapter Book Club to go creatively deeper with your reading, there’s still time! The doors to wonder are open, and we are getting to know each other inside the cozy online space before our first meet-up next week. We’d love to welcome you inside too…
