For me, inspiration depends greatly on how open-minded I am. When I go out with an open mindset, I see inspiration everywhere: The beautiful green of the tree in front of my house in the morning sun, a detail in the street art I pass every day, the little child with the big guitar case next to me on the underground, the song played by the street musician, the tattoo on the woman's arm next to me... Everything can give me a new idea or make me wonder and invent stories. I think ideas and inspiration are always around, but I often don't see them because I'm not looking for them. I try to put myself in the right frame of mind and see what comes around the corner. 😉

And when I’m not open to new ideas or feeling inspired, I don’t force it. Sometimes other things simply take over my life completely. So, I am gentle with myself and trust that the openness to inspiration will return when the time is right. 🌞

I love this idea of approaching inspiration with mindset choices Kerstin, and the examples you shared bring the concept to life visually.

What resonated the most for me, was this notion of being kind to yourself. Self-compassion is something I’m working on constantly, as I have very high expectations of myself.

I wonder then, when things aren’t forced and we are just open to wondering, do you consider this to be a flow state? ✨💭
