Hello Fellow Explorers,
Yesterday, we continued our deep dive into the takeaways from the International Sketchnote Camp. Thank you to everyone who joined live - it was wonderful to connect with members from Italy, the UK, and the USA all in one session!
This was a slower, more reflective session where we moved beyond the venue and began to illustrate the core themes of the conference. We explored how to visualize everything from the "spark of play" to our complex relationship with AI, and what "value" truly means in our creative business.
If you missed it, the full two-hour creative process is ready for you below. I've also added some key moments with timestamps to help you navigate the replay.
Director's Commentary: Key Moments in the Stream
(00:07:00): The Adobe Express Chair: We discuss how physical spaces and playful props can be a powerful spark for creativity.
(00:57:43): Illustrating AI: A deeper conversation on the ethics and metaphors of visualizing AI, and how we can use it to enhance, not replace, human collaboration.
(01:17:53): Adobe Fresco Tips & Tricks: I share my live, hands-on process for using different vector and pixel brushes, blend modes, and other tools in Adobe Fresco.
(01:42:20): The Value of Our Work: We illustrate the idea that while money is important, the true value we provide as creatives is the most critical part of the equation.
